The CCJS Crime Laboratory was established during the fall semester of 1980, when the Department moved to LeFrak Hall. Since that time the Crime Lab has moved to several locations and is now located in a spacious facility in 2401 Marie Mount Hall.
The lab is a teaching laboratory used exclusively for our CCJS 320 classes. It is equipped to provide CCJS majors with the hand-on experience and knowledge they need to understand the significance of the forensic sciences to the application of law.
For more information on what is taught in the lab, see the CCJS 320 syllabus.
