A recent article by Malcolm Gladwell of the New Yorker Magazine about Hurricane Katrina features former CCJS Professor David Kirk describing Maryland’s role in his articles published in the American Sociological Review (ASR) and Criminology journals about prisoners who could not return home in late 2005.
