ForensIQ wishes to announce the November 29, 2012 premier of an all-new webcast TV show, “forensicweek.com,” hosted by Tom Mauriello and Kevin Dolan.  The show will be broadcasted LIVE every Thursday evening, 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. (EST), featuring worldwide guests from throughout the forensic sciences community—discussing “real” forensic topics, techniques and criminal cases.  The show is streamed LIVE on YouTube and the homepage of forensicweek.com.  Each show is recorded and archived on the forensicweek.com website to be watched at your convenience.

Forensicweek.com is a talk show format, where each week the listening audience can hear what is on the minds of scientists, investigators, lawyers and educators.  Topic areas will include specific forensic, legal and investigation issues and will always include discussion about the career fields of the invited guests.  Some shows focus on a specific theme or subject matter, while others will be for general discussion.  Want to learn about “real” forensic science?  Want to have a venue to learn what is new in the forensic fields?  Want to just hear honest and insightful discussions about where we are and where we are going in the forensic fields?  Then tune in every Thursday to forensicweek.com and join us.

The forensicweek.com audience will be as diverse as the subject itself.  The show will be a curriculum requirement for some students studying forensic sciences and criminal justice in high school as well as in college.  Law enforcement and legal professionals looking to increase their understanding and knowledge of the capabilities of forensic science will also find the show to be a valuable resource.  Then there are those who are just plain intrigued by the mystery and suspense that accompanies the field of forensics.  Those are the important ones because they represent the pool of people who eventually become “real” jurors when they least expect it.   Forensicweek.com will soften the “CSI Effect” that misinformation has created in the field.  Forensicweek.com promises weekly programing that portrays the world of forensics in an entertaining but honest and truthful manner.

The co-hosts of forensicweek.com are Tom Mauriello, forensic consultant and CEO of ForensIQ Inc. and professor at the University of Maryland Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice; and Kevin Dolan, proprietor of the Landon House Mansion, where the legendary Confederate General J.E.B. Stuart hosted his famous Sabers and Roses Ball before the Battle of Antietam.  Tom and Kevin have joined forces to provide a unique forensic sciences talk show, broadcast weekly on the web, followed up by a series of live training workshops held at historic Landon House in Urbana, Maryland.   There will be more to come about the schedule of these live training events held at the historic Landon House.

Forensicweek.com is a proud member of the hangout10.com LIVE TV Show Network, and can be seen every Thursday at 7:00 P.M. (EST) on www.forensicweek.com or www.youtube.com/forensicweek
