Patricia Breen received her PhD from the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2015. Prior to entering the doctoral program, she served as a judicial law clerk, an Assistant Attorney General for the State of South Carolina, and an active duty judge advocate in the U.S. Air Force. Her research examines various aspects of the criminal court process, sentencing and correctional policy intervention and practice, and multilevel risk and protective factors for violence.
