Dawn entered the Ph.D. program in 2005 and is currently working on her dissertation. In 1995, she received her M.S. from Northeastern University. For the last ten years, she has been working for the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Social Science Research Analyst. Her main interests are faith-based prison programs, prison privatization, mental health issues in prison, and criminological theory.
