Shradha is a Senior Research Analyst in the Research Division at The Council of State Governments Justice Center. She completed her Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. For her dissertation research she used the National Neighborhood Crime Study (NNCS2-P) to explore how the intersection of city changes in immigration and Black/White residential segregation shape the racial-ethnic divide in neighborhood crime change from 2000 to 2013 across US cities. Her research focuses on racial/ethnic inequality in crime and justice, immigration and crime, and radicalization/deradicalization. Most recently, she served as a research assistant at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) on the Profiles of Individual Radicalization in the United States (PIRUS) project. She has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Global Terrorism and a Master's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.
