Amy Sariti Kamerdze

Doctoral Graduate

Amy entered the Ph.D. program at the University of Maryland in the Fall of 2007. She received her B.S. in mathematics and elementary education from the College of William & Mary and M.S. in Law & Society from American University. She also worked in the IT field for several years as a system administrator, firewall engineer and security investigator. Her research interests include criminological theory, educational attainment & crime, crime mapping & spatial analysis and crime mapping. She is currently working on her dissertation and is also involved in cybercrime and hot spots projects.
