Becca graduated with a BA in Psychology and Economics from Wellesley College in 2012. She is currently a fourth-year student in the PhD program, working as a research assistant for Dr. Brian Johnson. Her Master's thesis evaluated gender and the focal concerns theory of sentencing. Her interests currently include criminal court decision-making and sentencing, and gender and race disparities in the criminal justice system.
