Many great activities and research projects by the Department of Criminology faculty and students were showcased at the CCJS tent on Maryland Day, April 25, 2015.
Visitors were engaged by Becca Richardson’s discussion of the research being conducted with Professors Brian Johnson and Ryan King on the effects of facial features on offenders’ criminal punishment, Brook Kearley’s poster on the gang intervention experiment she and Professors Denise Gottfredson and Terence Thornberry are running, Professor Christine White’s activities educating people about human trafficking and Professor Tom Mauriello’s dollhouse crime scene.
Special thanks goes out to our volunteers for their efforts to make this a great event. Thank you Christine White, Jean McGloin, Lauren Grant, Becca Richardson, Brook Kearley, Maddie Clouser, Emily Long, Devon Howard, Meghan McCaffrey, Molly Dana, Ashley Carter, Dennis Brangwin, Kiana Smith, and Rebecca Johnson.
