Beyond 13th: A Dialogue About Resistance, Agency, and Change in the Age of Juvenile Incarceration is brought to you by MaryPIRG's Juvenile Justice Campaign.

This first half of our event will include a panel of speakers from the RISE For Youth, the ACLU, the Maryland General Assembly, the Juvenile Law Center, and the Criminology and English Department. These speakers will provide insight into their work and advocacy in the criminal justice field.

After lunch, the NAACP club at UMD and the ACLU will hold workshops on empowering students to get involved in campus activism and educating them about legal and political advocacy.
