We are excited to announce the second session, Exploring the Challenges of Reentry: Perspectives from Practitioners and Service Providerswill be held next Thursday, March 14th. This session will feature Andrew Lautar, a director of reentry services in Fairfax, Virginia, who will speak about his experiences in various reentry service positions and about the challenges facing practitioners who work with formerly incarcerated populations. 
 
Speaker Bio:  Andrew Lautar is the Director of Reentry Services for Opportunities, Alternatives and Resources, Inc. (OAR), a nonprofit organization that provides pre-release and post-incarceration services to justice-involved individuals and their families in Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun counties in Virginia. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Andrew has over 12 years of experience working with the justice system in Virginia, DC, and Maryland, with a special focus on reentry. He has many years of program development and implementation in the areas of case management, mental health, and justice services. Andrew has a Masters of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Bachelors of Arts in Criminology and Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
