Shannon joined the CCJS department in January 2023 and serves as the main support for CCJS students' professional development. She meets with students directly about topics such as internship/job searching, resume and cover letter writing, networking, graduate school, etc. Shannon is in charge of planning and executing events centered on career development and career planning, as well as connecting with employers and CCJS alumni.
Shannon manages the department internship program and teaches the internship courses (CCJS359 and CCJS398). She also teaches the department's one-credit career development course, CCJS332 Major Transitions: Undergraduate to Professional. Shannon provides support to the CCJS Advising Office, the BSOS Feller Center Career Planning Staff, and the University Career Center.
