CCJS is happy to announce the addition of a new lecturer, Jessica Miller.
This fall 2020 semester, she will teach Introduction to Criminology, Responses to Violence, Slavery in the 21st Century: Combating Human Trafficking, and Advanced Juvenile Delinquency. In previous semesters, she has taught Corrections and Introduction to Criminal Justice. Her main research interest is the impact of parental incarceration on children's educational outcomes. She is also looking forward to including some of her prior research interests in her courses, such as victimology and the impact of parental incarceration on children. Jessica earned a B.A and an M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.
