Sabrina is a master's student in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida where she majored in Criminology and minored in sociology. During her time at the University of Florida, Sabrina interned with the Chicago Justice Project, where she compiled records of official complaints against the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police President and analyzed misconduct committed by the Chicago Police Department officers. She also conducted an undergraduate thesis that focused on the influence of racial attitudes on perceptions of crime, particularly on drug crime. Her research interests center around racial inequalities within the criminal justice system, sentencing policies, and policing.
