Dr. Alex Piquero had the honor of speaking at the hooding ceremony for graduate students at the University of Texas at Dallas this past August. He begins the speech with credits to our own Dr. Laure Brooks and Dr. Ray Paternoster for launching his interest in criminology, and eventually, his career.
