In a notable achievement, Michael Lebron has been chosen for the Graduate School's Outstanding Graduate Assistant Award for AY 2023-24. Among over 4,000 UMD graduate students fulfilling roles as administrative, research, or teaching assistants, this award recognizes the top 2% for their outstanding contributions to students, faculty, departments, and the university community at large. Established to honor excellence, this accolade underscores Michael's significant impact and dedication within the academic realm, reflecting a commendable achievement in the 2023-24 academic year. Notably, AY 23-24 awardees will be granted a credit for mandatory fees in the upcoming Spring 2024 Semester as a gesture of acknowledgment and support for their outstanding service.
"I would like to thank my supervisor, Dr. Robert Brame, and the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice for nominating me for this award," expressed Michael Lebron.
