The UMD departments of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Economics, Government and Politics, and Psychology will hold Spring 2022 commencement on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in the Xfinity Center at 12 p.m. 

Regalia

Regalia is required. The University Book Center is the official supplier of commencement regalia for the university. The UBC will continue to provide regalia services up until commencement. Gown sizing and hood colors may be limited after April 20. Along with full regalia packages, the UBC will stock individual pieces, including the tassel, stole, and hood. 

Graduates may also purchase regalia packages at the University Book Center’s Grad Fair on March 9 & 10 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
