Justine Madoo is a Lecturer in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Maryland and graduate work at Rutgers University. She teaches Introduction to Criminal Justice, Juvenile Delinquency, and Gangs. Her research interests focus on correctional reentry issues where she has studied juvenile and young adult reentry. She is particularly interested in the effects of incarceration on young adults returning to the labor market and disadvantaged communities.
