Justine Madoo is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland. She obtained her graduate degrees from Rutgers University where she focused on the effects of incarceration for juveniles and young adult offenders. Prior to attending Rutgers University, she attended the University of Maryland, College Park where she obtained an undergraduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. She currently teaches the following undergraduate courses: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Advanced Juvenile Delinquency, Gangs, Offender Reentry, and Corrections. Her research interest is in the area of offender reentry, particularly among the juvenile and young adult offending population.
