I am an adjunct faculty for the following institutions: University of Maryland, Universities at Shady Grove; Frederick Community College (MD); University of Maryland University College (UMUC); and occasionally George Mason University (VA) (distant learning and guest lecturer). I have a B.S. in Psychology from Frostburg State University (MD), an M.A. in Psychology (Human Sciences) from Hood College (MD), and an M.A. in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University (VA). My areas of instruction are Forensic Psychology, Criminal Justice, Criminal Investigations, Criminology, Juvenile Delinquency, and Corrections; I have been an instructor since 2006.
I am a retired Montgomery County Police Officer (Maryland), and was an officer there for 15 years -- working mostly in patrol division before transferring to the investigations section. Currently, I am the Public Safety Programs Manager at Frederick Community College. I live in Hagerstown, Maryland with my husband and 3 daughters (and chocolate lab!), and I enjoy traveling, church activities, and spending time with my family.
