The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice extends a warm welcome to 2019 Summer Research Initiative (SRI) Scholar Monique Tribble.
Monique is a native of Chicago and a current college senior. Her research interests center on crime and behavior among young people of color and the resulting impact that the criminal justice system has on them. She will be mentored by Dr. María B. Vélez.
SRI was created in 1999 by the Office of the Dean in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and is supported by the Office of the Provost, the Graduate School, the Office of the Vice President for Research and the College.
