Dr. Charles Wellford has won the 2018 August Vollmer Award from the American Society of Criminology for his continuing contributions to the field. The Award is given to an individual whose scholarship or professional activities have made outstanding contributions to justice or to the treatment or prevention of criminal or delinquent behavior. 

He will be recognized for this prestigious award at the 2018 74th annual ASC meeting, November 14-17, 2018 in Atlanta, GA.
