Thank you for the dedication of the selection committee. Selecting award winners among the numerous deserving nominees is no small task. On that note, congratulations to the other award winners! The Criminal Justice professors and staff at the Universities at Shady Grove, University of Maryland Criminal Justice program are committed and talented. I am honored to work alongside them as they make me better. I am also grateful to work for Dr. Wendy Stickle, who promotes initiative and creativity, and supports her staff. At the end of the day, this is all about the students. I am truly humbled by them, and they are the real heroes of this story. I have been continually blessed to have students who exhibit extremely high levels of integrity, character and competence. It is an absolute privilege to teach at the Universities at Shady Grove, for the University of Maryland College Park Criminal Justice program. Again, I am supremely humbled and honored to receive this award.”
