Justin is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice and a Senior Researcher in the Maryland Judiciary’s Administrative Office of the Courts.
While a student at the University of Maryland, Justin served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the National Institute of Justice, as a Policy Analyst and Graduate Research Assistant with the Maryland State Commission for Criminal Sentencing Policy, and as a Research Assistant for Professor Sally S. Simpson.
Justin began his career as first a Research Assistant, and then a Senior Research Assistant, with the New York City Criminal Justice Agency, Inc. Later he worked as a Litigation Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Prior to entering the doctoral program at UMD, Justin served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco. He graduated from Drew University and Fordham Law School.
