Marshae Capers is currently a PhD student in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland, College Park. Marshae earned her B.A. in Criminology from the University of South Florida and her research interests include race/ethnicity, juvenile justice, community policing, crime trends, prison reform, and prisoner reentry into society.
