Dara Doane is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland, College Park. She completed a M.S. in Criminal Justice and graduate certificate in Crime Analysis from Boston University and a B.A. in Justice and Law from American University. Her research interests include courts and perception, vicarious trauma, and disability criminology. 

Dara is currently working as a teaching assistant for CCJS100: Introduction to Criminal Justice with Dr. Justine Madoo.
