Mateus Rennó Santos concluded a B.A. in Social Sciences, followed by a Masters in Sociology, with focus on public management and crime safety. During both majors, he worked as a researcher at The Center for Crime and Public Safety Studies at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil).
