Gwynne is a masters student in the department of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from the Ohio State University with a major in Criminology and a double minor in Forensic Science and Psychology. During her time at OSU, she worked as an intern with the Correctional Institution Inspection Committee (CIIC) which is a joint-legislative committee of the Ohio General Assembly that provides external oversight to Ohio Prisons. During this internship she was able to participate in a routine inspection of a prison facility, analyzed surveys conducted at all Ohio prison facilities, and compiled a list of prison policies outlined in the Ohio legislative documents. Her research interests include intersectional experiences in prison and decision making in prison.

 

Gwynne is currently working as an embedded data analyst within the Baltimore City Police Department. She works primarily with community policing but also assists other data analysis tasks for the Compliance Bureau
