Hyattsville Police Department Sergeant Zachary Nemser, CCJS alum '06 of the University of Maryland’s Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice (CCJS), has been recognized with the prestigious 2024 Top Cop Award by the Maryland Municipal League-Police Executive Association (MML-PEA). This accolade celebrates Sergeant Nemser's exceptional dedication and outstanding performance within law enforcement throughout the state of Maryland.
