The UMD College of Behavioral and Social Sciences selected CCJS Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies Nicole Amonett (Jackson) to receive the 2024 Excellence in Advising and Administration Award.
The award highlights Amonett's dedication in managing the CCJS undergraduate advising office and helping students navigate course planning, scheduling, university policy and departmental policy. She also serves as the director of the departmental internship program and teaches CCJS 332, a job skills course for CCJS majors.
She will be recognized at the Faculty and Staff Recognition Reception on Tuesday, April 16 at 3:30 pm in the Prince George's Room of the Stamp Student Union.
