Nicole Amonett (Jackson) joined the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice (CCJS) in 2008.  As the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies, she manages the undergraduate advising office and assist the Director of Undergraduate Studies with the daily operations of undergraduate programs within the CCJS department.  As apart of the advising office, Nicole assist students in course planning, scheduling, university policy and departmental policy.  She is the Director of the departmental internship program and teaches CCJS 332, a job skills course for CCJS majors.  Prior to working in the CCJS department, Nicole was a Graduate Assistant Academic Advisor within the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences here at the University of Maryland.  Nicole earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a double major in Political Science at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and went on to earn her Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice here at the University of Maryland.
