Diane has been a part of CCJS and the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS) since 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology & Criminal Justice here at UMD and joining the CCJS Department as a full-time advisor in February 2016. As the primary undergraduate academic advisor, she helps students in scheduling classes and planning their timely progression towards a degree. She manages the daily operations of the advising office and assists the Associate Director of Student Services and Director of Undergraduate Studies with special projects. Diane is also the CCJS department's commencement coordinator.
Diane is the recipient of the 2020 Outstanding Advising and Administration Award (Undergraduate) from the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and the inaugural 2025 CCJS Chair's Award.
