Greg Midgette is an associate professor of criminology and criminal justice at the University of Maryland and a senior policy researcher at RAND. He holds a PhD in public policy analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an MPP from UCLA. He specializes in program evaluation, policy analysis, and empirical research methods. His work focuses on alcohol and drugs, illicit markets, and violence. His work has been published in leading journals in public policy, public health, criminology, and criminal justice and covered by the BBC, NPR, New York TimesScience NewsWall Street Journal, and Washington Post among other outlets.
