Dr. Justine Madoo is a recipient of the 2021 College of Behavioral & Social Sciences Excellence in Teaching Award. The award recognizes faculty members who have made distinctive contributions to classroom instruction within the College of Behavioral & Social Sciences. Justine Madoo is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland. She obtained her graduate degrees from Rutgers University, where she focused on the effects of incarceration for juveniles and young adult offenders. Prior to attending Rutgers University, she attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where she obtained an undergraduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
